2018 has been a busy year for the Combined IUU List website. Since its relaunch in March, the site has provided high quality, up to date information on IUU listed vessels to over 6500 users from across the globe. Users are accessing the site from 159 countries, with the largest numbers coming from the United States, United Kingdom, China, Thailand, Spain, the Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia and France. The new download function has proved popular, and has provided us with valuable insights into the types of organisations using the site, which include national fisheries and maritime authorities, seafood companies, vessel insurers, academics, consultancies and NGOs.
We look forward to continuing to provide this service in 2019 and, as always, we welcome any input from our users.
